Public Leadership Scholars Program
Hi everyone!
I'm Samuel David
Snitkovsky and
welcome to my
website!
This is me
I’m currently a Marketing Major with a Nonprofit Leadership & Social Innovation Minor in the Public Leadership Scholars Program. I am an officer of the University of Maryland’s Culinary Club, as well as a member of the Russian Student Association, American Marketing Association, and Men’s Club Volleyball. I worked on campus for Resident Life, helping answer questions and getting students housing. Before that, I was a Junior Counselor for Montgomery County Summer Camps and a Flag Football Assistant Coach for the City of Gaithersburg. I’ve lived in Maryland all my life, but my family is originally from Ukraine. I grew up always wanting to give back to the community in any way I can. I’ve really been able to act on this through the Public Leadership Scholars program as they provided me with the tools and opportunities I need to help others. Not only that, but they’ve given me the chance to improve on my own leadership skills so that I can not only give back to others in the best ways possible, but thrive in my own fields of study.
I’m an officer of UMD’s Culinary Club where we strive to give students the opportunity to learn skills they need for adulthood when it comes to preparing your own meals. It’s a community where students can share recipes, experiences, tips and tricks for making good meals, and is one of the biggest student led organizations on campus!
